Canada Remembers

Washington, D.C. – The Canadian Embassy will hold a Remembrance Day ceremony, commencing at 10:30 a.m. on 11 November to remember and honour our fallen comrades.

The Embassy is honoured to host Canadian-born, U.S. Army Corporal Adam Keys, as this year’s V.I.P. guest.  Cpl Keys is a triple amputee soldier who was wounded by an IED while on duty in Afghanistan on July 14, 2010.

The public and members of the media are invited to attend the ceremony taking place outdoors at the Canadian Embassy rotunda.

Poppies will be available for purchase prior to the ceremony.
